Lawyer
Stephan Schumann was born in Radebeul in 1988. He studied law at the University of Greifswald. After the first state examination, which he passed with honors in 2014, he was a research assistant at the chair for criminal law, in particular tax and commercial criminal law (Prof. Dr. Wolfgang Joecks). In addition to his studies and work at the university, he works as a legal advisor in the Vorpommern-Greifswald tenants’ association. He completed his legal clerkship in Dresden, passed the second state examination in 2021 with distinction and has been working in our law firm ever since.
Here he mainly deals with criminal law, tenancy law and tax law. In criminal law, his special focus is on commercial criminal and administrative offense law, as well as on the law of asset confiscation. He is also active as a journalist in these areas.
Stephan Schumann is a member of the Deutscher Juristentag e.V., GreifRecht e.V., the GEW and the SPD. He is currently Deputy Federal Chairman of the Jusos.
