Alexander Lehmann was born in 1975 in what is now Lviv (Ukraine). He studied law at the Technical University of Dresden and at the State University of St. Petersburg, graduating with honors. After completing his legal clerkship with honors, Mr. Lehmann set up his practice as a lawyer in Dresden at the beginning of 2005.
Attorney Lehmann focuses primarily on civil law, with a focus on commercial law. In this context, Mr. Lehmann oversees company formations and advises his clients on day-to-day business. He also represents his clients’ interests before arbitral tribunals and ordinary courts.
His clients include in particular small and medium-sized companies from the transport and forwarding industry. In this area, Mr. Lehmann deals with the enforcement of freight claims and the defense against and settlement of claims from transport damage. Mr. Lehmann is a member of the German Society for Transport Law and specializes in railway law issues. Furthermore, Mr. Lehmann was a member of the specialist lawyers’ committee for transport and forwarding law of the Saxony Bar Association from 2015 – 2019.
Mr. Lehmann has been a specialist lawyer for commercial and corporate law since 2012.
In his free time, Alexander Lehmann is an active table tennis player and chairman of the table tennis club TTV Dresden 2007 e.V. In addition, Mr. Lehmann is chairman of the legal commission of the municipal table tennis association of the city of Dresden.
